The Advanced drawing class begins with a focus on the elements of art, such as line, shape, and form, before moving into various shading techniques, including hatching, cross-hatching, and gradients. Participants will refine their skills by exploring a wide range of subjects, from objects and florals to more complex forms, delving into both the technical and expressive aspects of drawing. This class offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of shading, composition, and form, while encouraging creativity and personal expression.
- a sketchbook (A3 or A4 size)
- a set of pencils (H series and B series)
- white and black charcoal pencils
- blending stumps
- kneadables (or normal) eraser, sharpener and ruler
A strong foundation in basic drawing techniques is recommended for this advanced class.
